人文社会科学翻訳センター（1990年設立）は和文から英文への翻訳、および英文の編集・校閲を専門に行う会社です。ベテランの社内スタッフが、国内外の多くの優れた翻訳者・校閲者の協力を得ながら、人文・社会科学系の書籍・研究論文・雑誌記事などを中心に英訳し、お客様から篤い信頼を得て来ました。CICの翻訳は、数十年にわたる経験と知識、入念なリサーチ、緊密なコラボレーションに基づいたもので、原文の正確な意味の伝達と、英文の明晰さ、質の高さを重視しています。
The Center for Intercultural Communication, founded in 1990, provides professional Japanese-to-English translation and English editorial services for non-fiction texts, mainly in the social sciences and humanities. Veteran in-house staff provide decades of experience and accumulated knowledge. A number of freelance translators and editors work with the Center from other countries and various parts of Japan. Based on careful research and close collaboration, CIC translations emphasize effective transfer of the meaning and intent of the original text and clarity and quality of English writing.
